Tonight’s meeting was most enjoyable and we learned a few things too. Toastmaster Ron’s opening comments included a Santa’s elf pun, which based on the moans from the audience must have succeeded. Justin provided the word of the day with “echelon.” Sam provided our joke.
Our first speaker was Crystal with her second speech in a series on Stress. Lots of good advice to take to heart. Justin followed with “What really matters” a talk on tonight’s theme of status symbols. Gave us cause to reflect. Carol was our third speaker with a presentation “So you think you want to remodel?” Carol might be able to be hired as a consultant for those thinking of heading down the remodel path, she has the experience. All three speakers gave great performances. Carol took the speakers ribbon.
Sam led status themed TableTopics. Grace took the prize with her passion or even love of compost answer.
Greg was GE with Larry, Grace and long time Toastmaster and guest Alan as evaluators. Alan took the ribbon for best or most improved evaluator.
