Santa Barbara and Goleta Toastmasters who would like additional opportunities to improve their communication and leadership skills have two interesting options. In Santa Barbara there are two Toastmaster clubs that meet monthly that offer a different public speaking and learning environment.
Presentation Pros is a specialty club for individuals who are working on taking their public speaking into the community. The club allows for longer speeches including discussion groups as well as extended evaluations. The club meets on the 2nd Monday of every month at the Santa Barbara Airport Administration Building. 6:30 to 8:30 PM
Whine & Dine is an advanced club for Toastmasters who have are or close to earning their CC award. This a dinner club that gives its members practice speaking in a restaurant setting. The club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Elephant Bar in Goleta. Dinner costs aproximately $15.
