Santa Barbara and Goleta Toastmasters who would like additional opportunities to improve their communication and leadership skills have two interesting options. In Santa Barbara there are two Toastmaster clubs that meet monthly that offer a different public speaking and learning environment.
Presentation Pros is a specialty club for individuals who are working on taking their public speaking into the community. The club allows for longer speeches including discussion groups as well as extended evaluations. The club meets on the 2nd Monday of every month at the Santa Barbara Airport Administration Building. 7:00 to 9:00 PM
Whine & Dine is a club that meets monthly and gives its members practice speaking in a restaurant setting. The club meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month (please contact Grace for the location). Arrive by 6 to order dinner, meeting starts at 6:30 and ends by 8:30.
