We have waited a long year for this evening. Mission Chapter Toastmaster’s Annual International meeting. This is the chance for everyone to give a speech that inspires or gets us thinking, or you can just give a 5-7 minute speech about anything you want!
We hope you don’t miss this meeting – even if you are not speaking, we’ll need your help to make the meeting a big success. Your attendance will be appreciated.

March 3, 2015 Meeting Notes
Last week’s meeting was our “Tall Tales” contest. Mary Jo was the presiding officer, there were 13 people at the meeting including returning guests Liberty and Philip.
Toastmaster: Grace
We had nine fantastic speeches – great job everyone!
Our contest runner up was Wayne, with his speech, “Talking to Your Pet.” Wayne found a book that helps translate what our pets are really thinking, and he shared this information with the club, to everyone’s great amusement!
Christine was the big contest winner with her speech, “Inappropriate Behavior.” Christine is a new homeowner and is still learning about her garden. She described her most recent discovery that the drought has driven her plants to consume alcohol, and each plant seems to have a preferred beverage!!
