September 29th, 2015 Meeting Notes
The theme of the meeting was “Fantasy Land”  Cindy was our Presiding Officer. We had 15 in attendance.
Toastmaster: Christine
Speaking Tip: Alyce – suggested we speak about something we’re passionate about.
Word of the Day: Julie gave us Litany: a tedious recital or repetitive series.

Jen: Told us how she looked for love and affection until she read a book where she learned to accept herself as she is.
Cindy: gave us the history of Halloween from the Irish pagans who wore costumes to ward off roaming ghosts to the Pope designating Nov. 1st as All Saints Day. She even told us how pumpkins became part of the holiday.
Michael: told us how he grew up with boats and of his experiences and some of his fantasies about them
